Due to the amount of “retired LJs on this site sometimes a couple just pop off every now and then.
I wonder if when this happens and the site is made aware of it can the be recognised as such fairly quickly, if only as a sign of respect.

The knowledge, knowhow and sharing of experience on LJ’s is a joy and should be preserved for future generations so I’ll add my voice to Rob’s request for something like a “Honour Roll” of members who are no longer with us.

I never knew this existed. I see we lost a few in the past year alone. :( That explains their inactivity on here. So sad to see fellow JH’s pass, but glad that we can remember them this way.

Maybe I need to re phrase my suggestion,

Due to the amount of “retired” LJs on this site sometimes a couple just pop off every now and then.
I wonder if and when this happens and the site is made aware of it, can they be recognised in the In Memoriam fairly quickly, if only as a sign of respect.

So lets start at the year 2006 and LJ Harvey for example. The possibly then Martin Svaabeck 2009, and currently to my Knowledge Roger Bean 2017.

So I call on other LJs to fill in the gaps please.

Does the post make sense now?
