Topic tags/keywords: question

I want to build a shadow box for a great man a Navy Captain! I was thinking of some wood contrasts like butternut and walnut. I want to use splines or some other accents.

Any ideas, opinions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all!

Try some. I’d look for contrast that still has warmth and is not harsh. You might find something no one else has done!

Above all, let it please your own eyes. You’ll learn to really like that feeling.
