Not sure if it is particular to a certain photo hosting site or not but it appears that links are being broken to photos that have been posted in the past. Now they are being replaced with a notice to update your account for 3rd party hosting or some crap like that. That’s nice.

No problem here. I haven’t seen that.

This is not specific to LumberJocks. Photobucket is to blame:

Thanks Chuck. I haven’t seen it on here, but I guess I just haven’t run across them yet. That’s gonna mess up a ton of people, and $400/yr is pretty outrageous.

Yes, if you read some of the online grumblings about this, you may note a tinge of anger!

I’m moving my stuff off of there asap. Talk about changing horses in the middle of the stream. You can read all about it in the new terms agreement.

I have dropped using Photobucket entirely. It does not work worth a crap anyway. When I want to put a photos into the test, I click on IMG ( Image) and it gives you a browse button just like putting your 6 photos in a project. Real slick just like everything here on Lumberjocks!!

While I was using Photobucket and started loading a lot of photos, I would put them in they would be the latest ones showing up on the list. Then it started putting them way to the first part of the list and I’d have to go through maybe 30 pages to get there. Then the stupid thing started putting them anywhere and I refuse to waste time on something as stupid as that!!

Cheers, Jim
