Topic tags/keywords: hammer

With the mess this planet is in these days it sure is nice to have an oasis of tranquility such as LJ’s to escape to. Such a diverse group from all over the world coming together to enjoy each others company… it really does give one hope for the future of this little blue orb. A perfect example of what can happen when we focus on our commonality and not our differences.

Thank you to Martin and his crew for this wonderful place. And a warm thanks to all of you terrific Jocks and Jockettes for sharing your woodworking projects, wisdom and skills… and making the world a better place in the process.

May all of your days be merry and bright… Happy Holidays everyone!

(and before any of you complain that this has nothing to do with woodworking, and in the spirit of not breaking the new strict site rules… I bought a hammer today and used it to drive some nails. It worked perfectly. There ya go! ;-)

Thanks for the thoughts at Christmas Chip. So… how many stars for that hammer?

A star for every member… to put at the top of their tree!

A (snow)ball peen Terri! Who knew it could drive nails too! ;-)

Chip. Merry Christmas to you also.

Was the hammer a Christmas Present to yourself?

Ok, ok, jeeesh. I’m throwing away the hammer. LJ’s spreading good will is enough of a skill share. ;-)

the future of this blue orb is not in trouble but people on the other hand, are an unproven species. I doubt we’ll make it really but who cares, trees will survive..
