Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw band saw rockwell resaw 28-3x0 28-340 black walnut

Hello all I am new to woodworking and I am starting to build my arsenal of tools. I stumbled upon this band saw on C-list and was wondering if it is actually as good of a deal as it looks…

https://bend.craigslist.org/tls/6196180060.html

It looks beat up but I feel like with a good clean and tune up it would be an excellent saw.

Also on craigslist I stumbled upon a load (about a thousand pounds for $100!) of black walnut “scraps” from a milling project someone did. I plan on doing a ton of resawing with this saw. Let me know your thoughts!

Thank you so much!

While you’re wondering if it’s a good
deal somebody else is buying it.

IMO it is a great deal for $300 if it runs.
