Topic tags/keywords: question hardware

These are very cheap:

They’re secured by small brads that have grooves along the length, I assume to provide a higher-friction hold.

My question:

Any estimate as to the life-span of a hinge like this (assuming very light use)?

www.craftparts.com is where I get mine. I screw them in place on small jewelry boxes.
