Ok, the newbie is already asking for help. I have looked every where that I can think of and cannot find a plan (free or pay) for a standard king size sleigh bed, nothing ornate or with intricate carvings. Just something basic, I can usually come up with some embellishments by myself. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! -- “If God dwells inside us like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting” - Jack Handey |

Hey Sarge, you said you looked everywhere, but I will ask you to look at WOOD Magazine archives, or search the site becuse I thought thay ran a bedroom series quite a while back that included the type of bed you were looking for. Woodsmith also has a nice catalog of plans. good luck -- Rick, Union,KY firstlightwoodworking.blogspot.com |

Try Fine Woodworking magazine – Taunton press. I remember seeing one in there. If you can’t find one in a day or two online I’ll dig up the article for you. all of my mags are still packed away in boxes from my recent move. -- --Chuck |

Here is the reference for Wood Magazine. It is listed for a queen size bed but is readily adapted to a King by simply lengthening the rails and the raised panels.
