Topic tags/keywords: resource finishing refurbishing

Here is a galley of work that I have done this year. I am, I think getting the hang of working in the shop as more then just a hobby. We will have to see what come of much more saw dust next year.

Some nice looking projects. It is to be hoped that we all can afford more shop time in 2011!

Nice work, Chris—I enjoyed the pix.

I like the way you focused the grain on the skirt of the bench—good touch.

The bookcase: nice job saving the veneer. When it’s bent like that there’s stress in it, and you did everything right to keep that from erupting!

Did the case sit on something else at one time? It doesn’t look quite right to sit on the floor, but from its shape I can’t seem to get a read on what might have elevated it.

Kindly,

Lee

What the Bookcase was is as you see it! Yes, even as I took the sides off of this project I had to watch what I was doing not to have something go wrong. ie. An erupting

The Bookcase was worked on in the past and left to die in the basement of the home. Yes there was a pair of feet that needed to be redone.

Thank you for your comments.
