Found one for sale in my area – any reviews or comments on this variable speed drill press ???

Hey, I have this drill press and I also bought mine used. The only issue I have had with it was the toggle switch going out but I was easily able to replace it. Other then that the thing is built very solid and works great. To change the speeds you have to manually move the belts which is a bit of a pain the first few times (at least for me) but once I did a few times I can change them fast with no problem.

You will also need to bolt it to a sheet of 3/4 plywood or some other kind of base if it does not have one all ready.

I have the 17-900 and am very pleased with its performance. Like any thing used. Look it over very closely to ensure it hasn’t been abused. Good luck.
