I have lots of exotic 4/4 8/4 boards in garge where humidity changes. If i anchor seal(classic) end grain do i lose much of board when i use? And will it help? And does it penetrate far ?

You’ll probably still get some end checks, but it will definitely help out a lot. It doesn’t penetrate much at all, it really just acts like any old paint. The anchor seal itself won’t make you loose any of the board, but the minor checking you will probably still get will. Anywhere between 4”-8” lost at each end is safe. sometimes it can be as little as 2”-3”. This is just from my experience with white oak.
