Topic tags/keywords: resource tip purpleheart zebrawood lathe turning

Didn’t feel like doing anything serious this evening, so I just did a few small turnings. Christmas ornaments out of Zebra and Purple heart. The screwdriver I think is Lace wood, but wouldn’t swear to it. A lady gave me a box of small wood pieces years ago and I don’t know what they all are.

“Didn’t feel like doing anything serious this evening” huh? Looks like a lot of talent and quite a bit of work to me. Nice!

Thanks Mike, it really isn’t anything much, I keep a lot of pen blanks around and just use 4 of them to turn and inside out ornament.

Nice ornaments my friend and handle… we all need a break from time to time, I haven’t done something for some days now as I was under the weather but today I might pay a visit to the shop :D hahaha

Mighty fine looking work Dan. I’d love to see what happens when you get “serious”!

Cute items, Dan. I am just gonna have to get a lathe one of these days.

Starting to work on the project posts a little, but the priorities have been in the shop. We are going down to La Conner for a couple of weeks this Wednesday, so trying to get the table mostly done before I go.

I have a project in La Conner that needs posting as well… and I should have more time there.
