Topic tags/keywords: telphones funny

When DW and I had one phone in the house and it rang . . . we would follow the ring to where it was laid and pick it up. It would end up in the weirdest of places as DW likes to “roam” when she is chatting.

About a year ago our phone died and we bought a 4 pkg of Panasonic cordless phones. I though our phone searching would now end with 4 phones in the house. Boy was I wrong. The problem now is that when the phone rings . . . they ring from 4 different directions. It would be ok if they were neatly laid in their cradles . . . but they are all over the house due to the roaming DW. Arg !

Ok . . . Im better now.

:-)

Uh oh. We’re about to get a multi-phone unit this weekend. I have a feeling I’ll be venting soon enough ;)

We have 3 in the house and one in the shop but with a 15 daughter in the house there are times I think one is too many.

I have three kids at home, had two handsfree phones and for the life of me never find one,.....bought three more hands free, one for the shop.

Phone in the shop rang incessantly…...”what are you doing”, “do you have any laundry” “when are you making dinner”......never stopped ringing.

The other 4 phones…..............could never find one and if you do find one, the battery is dead

I now have one phone and its land locked

Hilarious, Mrtrim!

Don’t worry, soon we will all just go to Costco and they will embed a microchip in the back of our neck that will replace phones.

Even one phone is too many when you’re in the middle of a glueup and a salesman decides to call.

I have a friend who turns the ringer off on her phone for most of the day. She believes that if it is important they’ll leave a message.
