I found this plane at a friend of mine today. It quite the story how I got it but in the end I traded 3 dozen large brown eggs from my hens for it. Both wooden handles are in bad shape. His son in law was grinding on the blade. He only did it on the very end though because they couldnt get the screw out of the thing that blade is riding on. I cant find much information on it and I am hoping someone here is knowledgeable about them. Did I do good saving this plane? I am a greenhorn and have not even used a plane yet. I want to but dear God they are expensive. So, did I buy junk or did I score?
