im in the market for a miter saw, as i am going to rebuild a proper miter saw stand/woodrack, and my current miter saw is a no brand made in china, that works ok, but with a limited cut capacity and no accuracy at all.
i have been searching systematically and daily every auction and second hand website in the country for a Bosch miter saw, my fav brand. and theres not much coming up, besides one huge deal on ebay that i missed ( a nearly new Bosch 12” slide that went for €550, while it goes retail for €1200 here.

anyway, now i saw this Kapex: http://nl.kapaza.be/vi/52990068.htm
and im wondering if it’s a good deal? i already offered €700, but they want €900. it costs €1500 new, it’s still under warranty and “new condition”
it’s still alot of money, is the saw that good? my absolute max budget i wanted to spend for a miter was €700.

I’d say if you want that one, wait a while and see if they sell it. Might be they will lower their price and take your offer.
Not familiar with that saw though.
Good luck.

I monitor used festoons on eBay all the time. In the US a Kapex sells for $1300 new. Good used ones sell between $1000 and $1150.

I”’ve never used a Kapex, but I have some other Festool products and their quality is outstanding. I’ve also read some very positive reviews of the Kapex.
