Topic tags/keywords: humor buddy icon

Seems that now even Cozmo35 has gone and done it too. :-< He’s gone and changed his buddy icon. So how long do think it will take me to instantly recognize your new logo? I declare that no one should be able to change their icons any more. :D It makes us old folks have to think too much. LOL! :)

Could you imagine if SnowyRiver, or ellen35, or, gasp, A1Jim changed theirs, all the havock that would cause? :D

It’s similar to going grocery shopping and they moved all the isles around. Now we have to READ the name. I am so good at pictures only ! lol

I have developed a skin problem that has required me to shave a portion of my beard. I had a thought about updating my picture to more accurately show what I now look like. Nope – Not Going To Do It!

Dennis I always look for your hat.

Rich you remind me of a friend.

and not seeing Neil with his eye wear….

I can’t imagine the utter chaos it would cause with so many changes….. what if I lost the newspaper ;)

Yeah, Dennis’s Hat, Neil’s eye wear. Those are two that are true icons. And lets not forget MsDebbie.

When Charlie1958 changed his, it took me a while to catch up after that. However, when StevInMarin changed his, it was just a slight change so it wasn’t so bad.

I confess, I am a visual person so changes in icons are confusing for me too.

I guess you’ll just have to look at this old mug for a while. :)

We all get sideswiped by change, that’s for sure. One place I worked had a wood racks with plexiglas fronts for our mail, about 10 people high and 10 wide- big rack. The secretary would type our names on Avery labels in what appeared to be 6 point font. When people joined or left our organization, she would shift the plexiglas fronts to keep them in alphabetical order. I spent way too much time hunting for mine, so I went and got a highlighter (happened to be pink) and highlighted my name. Easy to find, after that. Some peops gave me a hard time about the pink, but I couldn’t care less, I found my mail way faster.

Just wait till the newbie-, beginner- and rookie woodworkers think they have mastered the craft.
Or moved their shop from closet or attic to a garage.

Rich, my dog had that. They said it was the mange. Don’t change your icon…. it will grow back when the medicine kicks in.
