I just bought the Nova Voyager DVR Drill Press. The manual says to use a surge protector because of the electronics. Is there any special type of surge protector or just anyone rated for 15 amps.

Do people who have the Nova lathe use a surge protector.

I have a DVR and don’t have it plugged into a surge protector. I would think any surge protector rated for 15 amps would work. When my tools aren’t in use I unplug them just out of habit.
