Topic tags/keywords: humor question

I sure hope I am not breaking any rules here. I surely am not trying too. I am looking to add some jokes on my website and I know there was a ton of it here, soooo I would like to know if all of you that had posted “wood humor” jokes in the coffee shop would be willing (if you still have them) to allow me to post them on my site.
(The name and address of it is on my profile here, and under my name below)
Obviously I do not want any questionable jokes, riddles, or humor. I am just looking for some jokes to add a bit of fun and smiles to my blog.

You can e-mail them to me at pinetowns1stlady@gmail.com or pm me right here.

Please don’t post any here, I really am not trying to be disrespectful in any way or break any rules.

Thanks in advance as I know someone will send me some. I can always count on the Lumberjocks and Lumberjockettes!
Thanks Allison

Hi Allison,

You can find Grumpy’s Joke of the Day thread here – there is a lot of material there. Since the coffee lounge is closed there are no new posts, but you can still read the existing ones.

You know, since I found the thread, I started checking through the jokes. It would take you a while to find wood related ones. I’m sure there are some buried in that thread, but there are a lot of non-wood ones!

Don’t like jokes, they get me into trouble sometimes. LOL
Will do Allison. You can’t keep a good story hidden.
P.S I like your email address, you must be important. 1st lady, I am impressed.
I like the website, very professional.

@ Grumpy, After my first husband died, I remarried 6 years later to a man who’s last name is White (Dave.) He has always answered his phone “Hello, White House”

When I first got married to him I started answering the phone, Hello, White House, first lady here.” Then when I first got a computer and was thinking of a name for e-mail at google, I tried “First Lady” @ gmail and it was taken.
Although my address says I live in Westwood, Ca. we actually live in a little section off of Westwood that is named Pinetown.
And that is how I became Pinetowns1stlady.

“Hello, White House here, not the one in Washington D.C. just the one in Pinetown!

Thank you to everyone that provided me links. I thought with the closing of the “coffee shop” that all threads had been deleted.
As usual, my fellow Lumberjocks came through. Again, Thanks.

Quite a story Allison, a well deserved title.
The coffee shop is now open for business, wood jokes that is.

Hey Allison, years ago when I was living at home, we had a phone number that was very close to a nightclub call the Dutchess. We constantly were getting calls in the middle of the night and some drunk asking if this is the Dutchess. My dad used to say no, this is the duke, the dutchess is out with the king. Needless to say there was silence on the phone while they thought about it. :-)

@SnowyRiver, that’s a good one!
What’s a little ironic in this married name thing is my husband was born David Pope. It was another man that adopted him and made him “White” But boy could I have fun with a name like “Pope”
Hello, you’ve reached “The Vatican”........
