For those who have been checking out my projects, we have our new addition to the family. David Jackson was born 2/5 at 6:33 pm. HE was 7 lbs and 13 oz. and 20” long. I thought building things out of wood was the coolest thing ever, but parenthood is AWESOME. He already has a fishing pole and I ordered him a calendar series case knife. Here is a link to his picture that they took at the hospital.

Congratulations. Fishing pole and a case knife are fine but don’t forget the baseball, baseball glove and bat.

I hope Mom is doing fine as well. I can tell that Dad definitely is on cloud nine.

I think he needs a pony. Maintain that attitude about parenthood. Print it on the wall and never forget it. There is no greater calling in the world.

Congratulations. My son is now in his 40’s and thru the years he has been my best friend and companion in outdoor sports, woodworking, and many other activities. He has enriched my life in every way and I wouldn’t want to think about what the years would have been like without him.
