While browsing through Woodcraft’s recent flyer, I was surprised to see the prices of their housebrand router bits….even at 40% off they seemed higher than I’d be willing to pay for them. They used to put the “Woodcraft” brand bits on sale for $5 each…I’ve purchased several that I thought were a good buy at $5….roughly on par with other good bargain imports like Woodline, MLCS, Holbren, etc. Perhaps I’ve wrongly assumed that “Woodriver” was just a name change from “Woodcraft” on the same bits.

Does anyone know if they’re the same?

Do others view the new pricing as being high for what they are?

Comments welcome.

Have they changed in quality at all? Maybe they are better made and worth more?
