Awaiting shipment of Jet 1221vs and would like to make a wood stand for it before I recieve it. Question: how many mounting holes to mount the lathe to the table or stand are on each side? For example, are there 4 on each end for a total of 8, or 2 on each end for a total of 4? Thanks.

2 on each end for a total of 4. You know you could have looked up the manual for the stand.

Thanks. Still wondering if the lathe has 4 mounting holes on each side, and the stand only uses 2? The reason I asked is that when I looked at the lathe at a store located about 250 miles from me, I thought I saw 4 holes on each side. I guess I am not recollecting correctly. Happens the older I get.

What I see here is that Hockey does know how to look things up as evidenced by his other post. I believe he is trying to stimulate conversation as this forum looks to have died again. 2 cents worth ........ Jerry (in Tucson)

The mounting diagram shows just 4 holes needed. See page 8.
