Topic tags/keywords: books cabinetmaking

of Illusrtrated Cabinetmaking by Bill Hylton.
Just got my copy from Amazon yesterday. No I didn’t read it yet, but I was skimming thru the pages and noticed some duplicate pictures. I checked the pages and notice that my book goes to page 134 then the next page is 111 . That continues to page 134 again . Then the book picks up at page 159.
Contacted Amazon and arranged for a replacement, but no one knows if the replacement will have the proper pages

That happened with a run of Harry Potter books and the mistakes were selling on EBay for hundreds of dollars.

Sorry, the book was printed in the USA. I have heard of one other book like mine so far. As to value, I think I would rather have a new complete version, but would be happy to sell this one to you for a slight profit

Having worked in publishing, that can happen from time to time. If you ever saw how a newspaper went together you’d wonder how they ever manage to pull one off everyday. Sometimes things are fixed on the fly, and some bad copies can sneak by. If its a well known enough book/author/publisher I’m sure there will be a correction. (otherwise someone is losing a ton of money)

I got my book years ago…

It is complete…

Page 135 is an exploded view of a Pedastal Table, that started on page 134.

This is definately one of my FAVORITE books… It’s always within easy reach.

Well I came across a few other people that had problems with the most recent edition. On the good side, I had my new copy in 2 days from Amazon and it was properly bound, so I am good to go.
