It can only be good, having moderators remove stuff that “crosses the line”.
I just hope they have a sense of humor ….or I’m sunk.

How about Sheriff Woody? Can even picture Toy Story Woody “reach for the sky.”

Martin does need to sleep sometime, so moderators are a good idea, imho.

I was reading a thread a little while ago and at the bottom, it said something like “this topic is closed” or something like that. Sorry, the way the forums are all screwed up, I can’t remember where I saw it. It was the one that started talking about the US flag and other stuff and then went south in a hurry. I tell you man, the late 60’s and early 70’s were hard on a man…......

That’s right GMman. I think its the first time I’ve seen something like that here. It usuall goes on and on until it gets really nasty and then, POOFFF, it’s gone. I would like to know what’s going on? You kill me Roger!!

One of the site goals is to keep the “forums” focusing on woodworking.
Family and project updates can be posted in a blog.
And, as always, the posting rules apply.

I hope this helps clarify any confusion.

Thank goodness. I was getting a bit tired of skipping over all the non-woodworking (and largely childish) posts. There are plenty of other forums I could visit if I wanted that!

With all due respect, JJ, why is the question important?
The site is now operating smoothly and without drama… personally, I don’t care what Martin did, it is working!
I think MsDebbie’s statement says it all.
