On my old 8” Delta Rockwell 34-600 TS, squaring the fence to the blade is real challenge. I have tinkered with it to no avail. Any suggestions?

Is an aftermarket fence the way to go? Is there one that works with my saw & is it somehow “adjustable” to facilitate squaring up the fence to the blade?

Also, cranking the blade to 45-degrees is getting harder & harder and if there is a trick solution, I would sure appreciate hearing it. Thank you.

A lot of folks really like the Delta T2 … others like the Vega fences, etc. I went with a Shop Fox ( ) ... easy to install and rock solid.

As for the cranking problem, check to make sure you don’t have sawdust caked in the works. This happened on my Jet, and all it took was a good cleaning and lube to fix it.
