I have a Delta 8” bandsaw and the trunnion is broken. I’m looking for someone with a broken Delta 8” bandsaw that might sell me a good trunnion unfortunately the part is not available from Delta. I live in Washington State and I would hate to throw the bandsaw away just because I cant find a trunnion. I also have a planer that is a ShopSmith. There is no powerstation and it came off of a Mark V. The planer is $1200 new and if someone in Washington State wants it they can have it for $400 or i’ll trade for a lunch box planer and $200.00.

Hey Eddy,
Man I wish you were here in So Cal. I could weld that sucker up for you.If you know a good welder up there, and I had a picture of the break, I can send you a very good rod for cast iron. Just be sure that they have experience with cast iron or it will turn into a boat anchor real quick. Do not let them use that NI-Rod junk. Rand

Thanks but my trunnion is made of potmetal. I have a wire feed welder and have never tried to weld potmetal. I would like to say to all woodworkers thar Jesus was a carpenter! :)
