So I know that wood burning kits tend to get pricey, particularly so with ones that work well and have heat gauges and whatnot.

Does anyone have a GOOD suggestion? I don’t want a pyrography pen, instead I want the whole kit.
This article about the best wood burning kit has a couple good ones.

It lists TRUArt temperature controlled 60W pyrography kit and another 60W kit. Both of which are basically what I’m looking for, but want a few more options before just jumping into it.

Any suggestions?

One of the members of our woodworking guild is a professional … he recommends Colwood burning tools … http://www.woodburning.com/

I have a set of Colwood tools ( http://www.woodburning.com/toolshop/detail.asp?iPro=82&iType=24 ), and am very happy with them.
