I posted this on the “Skills” forum, but thought this one more appropriate. Please excuse my redundancy.

I’m finishing up a SCMS bench. About 8’ long with a solid 3/4” plywood back. The back will be exposed and I want to hang a hinged shelf on it to hold a bench grinder, belt/disc sander and a 1” strip sander.
I’m leaning towards a HD continuous hinge with a folding set of supports.
Does anybody have any other suggestions?
Thanks folks

A continuous hinge (piano) should work fine!
