I have a space against the wall of my garage and putting in a miter saw touting table combo would be perfect. My skill level is intermediate. I would probably need directions on how to make it.

Without knowing the dimensions of the space, and what vision you have for the station, it’s pretty much impossible to help you. What I like to do is run a web search, and choose the “Images” option. Scan through to see if you find something that appeals to you. Then, if you have specific questions, you’ll get a ton of advice on here.

Never seen this but now that I think about it I guess it could work. I’m watching this thread to see what comes up.

Don’t think I’ve seen that combo.

Here’s one from our very own LJ forum:

miter saw / router table combo?

Scroll down to replies from SamR. He posts an initial overall shot, then in response to requests for more detail, includes several more good quality photos. It looks pretty darned nice.

Yeah, If I were looking to set up a multi-use station, that’s the way I’d go. All I did was follow my own advice, did a search for “miter station router table combo,” went to Images and there were several. That one really stood out, and just happened to be from LJ.

To be honest I thought it was a poor idea until I saw Sam’s. Be really nice with a flip top.

And a beer cooler.
