I have the opportunity to grab this jointer for what seems like a bargain price at $350. Does anyone have any experience using this jointer? I didn’t anticipate buying a jointer right now, but this seems like a great jointer for a reasonable price. Please let me know what you think.

It seems to be in great condition, although I have only seen the following pictures, not in person:

I don’t have any experience with this particular model, but in general, Delta jointers are good performers.

This one appears to be an older Delta-Rockwell, and lookms like it is in good shape.

Parts are still available for these machines, and $350 for an 8” jointer is a terrific price.

I’d go for it.

Is that a 6” or an 8” ? If its a 6” it not a very good deal at all. Even if its an 8” its still no great deal. It seems well used. You can’t really tell much from a picture. You really need to see if the tables sag etc. Even if its flat and true (many new ones aren’t) You still need to wonder about the life left in the motor.

I just bought a “like new 8” Delta for $250. I thought it was a steal! I sold my old (1945) 6” on CL for $200. So my net cost is $50. Is that a gloat?
