This is my answer to a steamer /bending box. I used “dog ears”(fence slats) stapled them loosely together and used a steamer supplied by Camper.
I tried 1/4 maple and it did bend but not very good. May not have got it steamed enough. I used 1/8 poplar and left it in the steamer for about 20 minutes. Seems to work good. I’ll be using these straps for my “Treasure Chests” I showed on a previous blog.
