Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the Sawmill Creek site? The domain name seems to have been taken over.

I had problems first thing this morning, but now it works fine. Of course, I tried it at home and it didn’t work, but works fine from the work computer. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Well . . . Now it’s not working . . . . Maybe server problems?

sawmillcreek.org? sawmillcreek.com is a different site. Works fine here.

My problems this morning was with opening different forums from the index, so it definitely wasn’t me.

It’s cool now, since I can access it just fine from work. It’s really pretty bizarre.

Perhaps the problem has passed?

Still is a problem in Texas. Which nameserver your computer uses appears to determine whether you can reach them or not. They apparently had some problem with their domain registration. See the postings at Woodnet.net in the Woodturning forums.

I’ll have to check when I get home and see. Unfortunately (in more ways than one), that won’t be for 3 more hours.

I’m still having the same problem now that I’m at home, so it’s apparently something about the .org domain and ISPs, though I have no idea why or how.
