So, I was at Lowe’s the other day and thinking about possibly stepping up from my entry-level 10” Delta miter saw to a unit w/greater cutting capacity & accuracy: either a slider 10” or non-slider 12”. I noticed PC has a new non-slider 12” that looks fairly feature-rich. I went home and decided to check out the specs online since I couldn’t find much on the side of the box. For some reason, it’s not even listed on the Delta/PC website and I can seem to find any reviews/info. about it on the web. Anyone know anything about this unit or have any experience with it? I know Delta/B & D is outsourcing their PC line, but they do have website info. on all their other machines that Lowe’s stocks, but not this one. What gives???

I am not sure, but I did recently come across a similar issue with a PC pin nailer and compressor that I bought. The model number was not found anywhere on their web site, and I could find it only on the HD web site. My conclusion was that the bundle was created specifically for HD, and not available broadly. I figured it was the same old PC pancake compressor with their same old pin nailer, but I was wrong. The pin nailer was indeed the same, but the pancake compressor was a bit stripped down in features compared to the one that you normally see. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the same situation here. Look closely at the features and don’t assume it is the same 12” MS that you might see elsewhere.

Go directly to PC. You should be able to ask them directly
