I know the Coffee Lounge bit the dust, but I consider my radio a shop accesory so I’m posting this in the Tools, Hardware, and Accessories Forum. Hope I’m not breaking any new rules….

It’s been a long time since I started the Forum topic LJ Soundtrack, but I heard a song on the radio today that jogged my memory. The LJ Sountrack is a list of songs that should end up on the playlist of every Lumberjock. Check the link above for a full list, but some examples include…

Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson, “Poncho and Left-tilt”
Elvis Presley, “I want glue, I need glue, I love glue”
Deep Purple “Smoke From the Router”
Alan Jackson – “Don’t rock the miter box”
Beatles – “I saw her sanding there”
Neil Young – “Keep on logging in the free world”

You get the idea…. The song I heard today inspired me to revive this thread. That song was…

Santana – “Black Walnut Woman”

Please feel free to add your favorites to the playlist…

Tom Petty – “American Burl”
Led Zepplin – “When the Level Breaks”

Come on… you know you’ve got some to add to the list….

You don’t need to make songs up. Crosscut Saw by Albert King was written years ago and covered by dozens of musicians.

What about: “One tote over the line”? I think that was Dr. Hook wasn’t it?
