Topic tags/keywords: question jointer

Can it be done?

I have a stick welder from harbor freight, would that work? What about a 9 volt battery?
Any and all help is appreciated!

Hook it up to your car battery. Or just get a cheap $5-$10 battery charger off CL. You need something that can supply at least 1-2 amps @12v Just stay away from those ‘smart’ chargers.

Brad

Have an old laptop charger? They tend to put out a few amps and have worked well for me in the past.

(Someone else can speak towards whether that is actually safe)
