I’m new to your Lumberjocks site, and appreciate all the organizers here for starting the Greene & Greene contest through PWW.
I’m a grandma (57) who doesn’t stay in the kitchen baking cookies. All my little ones think my single-car garage shop is a wonderland, and at six and under, they’re all eager to get in there and pound nails when they visit.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest.

Pleased to meet you Barb!!!

It sounds like your shop IS wonderland—not everyone is willing to let a little one pound nails.
And I am guessing that you are going to enter the contest, yes??

Debbie – Just praying I can find time…I need two new bedside end tables anyway, and love Greene & Greene. I’m staring at PopWood’s cover and reaching for a sketchbook.

Welcome to the shop Barb. I just added a site to my main page today. It’s Darrell Pearts web site and he specializes in Greene & Greene Styled Furniture.

Thanks for the welcome, Michael. Yes, sir, Darrell Peart is well known to me. Here is a review of his book I wrote some time ago, upper left in a long list (until the new ones are added in, that is.)

Well Barb: Good luck on the Greene and Greene Side Table. We have a bunch of people saying they are going to win. The competition is getting fierce.

The links for the article are in the announcement.

You are welcome for the link, Woodspar. And Karson, thank you; I never really count on winning a competition, but it will be fun to try it. And fun to see how many different design ideas come out of these efforts.
