Iam making my first box and it is also the first time I veneered anything. I used mdf as a core and was wondering if when it comes time to put the hinges on do you have to qlue them ? I dont think the screw will hold very good in the mdf. Help

As a newbie, I’d slather the screws with epoxy and glue the hinges on for good measure. Nothing like a touch of overkill! But let me defer to the more experienced people out there…
