Back in January I bought a Groz Rabbet Plane from Woodcraft. It’s not top of the line by any stretch, but it worked rather well for my needs. Earlier this summer I decided to sharpen the blade and it broke. I hadn’t even put it to the stone yet.

I looked for a replacement blade, but couldn’t find one. So, I sent an email to Woodcraft asking where I could get a new blade. Within hours I received an email saying they were sending a whole new plane out tomorrow. All I had to do was return the broken one.

I wasn’t looking for a replacement plane, just a blade. They certainly did right by me on this and it is only fair to recognize their good service.

Definately. Love to hear good service stories. Might just make the trek to woodcraft now myself. And it so happens I am in the market for a block plane and 3mm or 1/8” chisel.

Hooray for Woodcraft! Now I have an excuse to buy more from them. “Gee, dear, they have great customer service.”
