Both saws have good solid handles. One has nicked teeth, the other one is in very good shape. I just finished sharpening and setting both. They both cut true and with relatively little effort.

MikeS and jim1953,

The saws are both panel type. One is a craftsman, 5ppi, it appeared to be a rip saw but I filed some bevel into the teeth and decreased the rake to somewhere around-20 deg. It is now a fast crosscutter. Every one of the teeth has a nick right at the gullett. Would make a nice standby. The other has no name that I can tell. It’s 8ppi, all the teeth are in good shape. I’m about halfway done filing and setting. Both saws will be set for softwood yellow pine. I’m asking 20 for the 5ppi and 25 for the 8ppi. Will try to post pics this weekend. Just for your info I file handsaws, I can tune them to whatever type of wood someone will be cutting. Thanks for your interest.
