I have the Porter Cable 4210 12” half blind dovetail jig with a Porter Cable 690 router. I can make 3/4” half blind dovetails all day long and fit perfectly. I am trying to make some drawers from some 1/2” stock and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the setup correct. I even tried contacting PC and their help didn’t work either. Supposedly it is able to cut 1/2” blind dovetails with this jig, I just can’t seem to figure it out. Do I need some sort of additional template? I am about ready to switch to the Leigh jig.

I don’t have that jig, I’ve got the Omnijig but I dont think it works much different in that regard. To use a differnt thickness of material you probobly just need to use a different dovetail bit (probobly a smaller one) and a different sleeve.
