When I try to upload photos to this site I get told that the file is to big. I’ve tried to post my last 3 project without success. I’ve posted in the past without trouble. I use a Nikon D5200 camera. What Gives?

I always resize to 800×600 and have never had a problem. Most sites do have a file size limit… some will automatically resize, some will just reject. Generally, when the site says the file is too big, the simple fix is to just make it smaller :)

Brad

Yep, sounds like the default output of the camera exceeds the LJ limit. Some kind of image editing will be needed if you want to post pictures that only come from that camera.

That said, the site plays nice with smartphones (direct-to-site from the phone’s browser), and the quality there is typically pretty good. If that’s an option for you, might be less hassle.
