First of all I want to thank all of my fellow wookworkers whether you voted for my projects or not. I was truly ready to concede and resign myself to Ryan Shervill winning the award. His fantastic table -- Gary, East TX -- The longest journey begins with a single step. |

Congrats to the very deserving winners! It was really hard to choose from among such a fantastic group of projects. I think the competition really sparked some LJ’s to stretch themselves and become better woodworkers because of it. -- Charlie M. "Woodworking - patience = firewood" |

Congratulations Gary, Ryan and Stewart on great projects! And thanks too all who thought enough of my project to vote for it! I was kinda shocked at how well I did overall, especially in the box category..there were a number of boxes I voted for which ended up placing behind me that I thought were top notch from a challenge in craftsmanship standpoint, quality of workmanship and creativity standpoint…..I’m very very humbled…..with that I’ll close by saying that with the exception of Stewart…Gary and Ryan had to enter two different projects to beat me instead of one! (had to get that little dig in there..just teasing…the other way to think of it is I had to enter two categories in order to place as well as I did overall). Thanks for a great competition Martin! -- Rich, Madison WI |
