Topic tags/keywords: wooden joints screen lattice

Hi everyone! I´m new here.

I want to built this type of wooden screen with lattice panels, but i´m having some problems with the joints of more than 3 pieces in the main structure.

Use dowels to align everything until the glue drys.

The 2 and 3-way joints can be done conveniently
with dowels. The 5 way joints a biscuit or two
would come in handy. You could do it all with
pocket screws and plug the holes if the frame
is to be painted.

If you’re looking for a challenge many of the
joints can be half-lapped. Butt joints are easier
to cut but half-laps are quite strong when glued-up.
