What do you all suggest for finishing methods on wine bottle stops? The first 4 stops that I made I used the BLO and CA finish just the same as my pens. Do others use this method or lacquer and buffing? I want a finish that will last and is shiny.

I used CA/BLO on my first few stoppers, but switched over to a wipe on poly. I figure the bottle stopper isn’t going to be handled as much as a pen so it should be a solid finish. I use about 6 or so coats.
