I know some of you went to the Costa Mesa Show over the weekend. I for one was very disappointed in the lack of vendors, and the reduced size of the show. Next year they may hold in in a trailer. Peachtree was the only large vendor, with only a few other small displays. Lee Valley wasn’t selling anything, just a reduced display, Dewalt had a decent display, but limited. No StopSaw (but they were at my local Rockler store on the same weekend. Maybe there isn’t enough business in Southern California. Maybe they could show up every couple of years with a much better show. We need some change. What do you think?

I haven’t gone to our local ‘big’ woodwork show here in the Vancouver area in a few years but I hear the same thing is happening to it. Far fewer vendors, very little action.
