So just unpacked my new toy and while testing it came up with a little problem.
Jointer runs and performs great! Switched over to Planer mode and nothing, will not run.
Read the manual twice tried everything I could think of, no interlock switches I could find?
even called the place I bought it from amd the distributor! ( No response yet )
Anyone come across this before? Same Machine as the Jet brand.

When you lift the table and turn it on does the motor start? Not sure if “not running” means head spinning, but not feeding the wood.

Yah it’s plugged in, had to install new plug(220v)
Same instructions that came with my machine, looked at them again and noticed a SAFETY SWITCH! Think I found my problem! Was going to start pulling it apart tomorrow if I didn’t hear from CWI.
The boss says every time something new(tool) comes into the shop something needs to come out! Hitachi is up for sale as well as my Laguna and general. Got to make some room!

Found safety switch! played around until it actually works and now have a Planner that works! Has to trip when the Dust chute is lifted and when or, if jointer bed is raised when motor running in jointer function?
