Grand Opening today for KMS Tools, Edmonton.

They have grown a lot here since their little “hole in the wall” shop on 156 Street, they have a good sized showroom on 111 Ave at 145 Street (North side of the road).

I stopped in to see the new place just before noon today and to check on the “deals”.

Various tool vendors, free soda pop & BBQ’d smokies (although they wouldn’t let me try one on a SawStop) and just a real carnival atmosphere.

Looks like people are happy to see another Canadian company opening a larger tool outlet, and they certainly have a wide selection.

I have no connection to the store or its ownership, just happy to see a larger store with more stock on the shelves… check it out!

Thanks for the shout-out, Randy. I know a lot of people from a few of the stores have worked some long hours to get the new Edmonton store up and running but it sounds it it went really well.

You are welcome! I left there today with my wallet a lot thinner…

Nice! Out in Thunder Bay we have a grand “re” opening of a local toolstore tomorrow morning; I feel like a geek, but her father and I are getting up early tomorrow to go there. It is really nice to have a good toolstore in town, I get tired of constantly having to order tools in.

Rob, I know how you feel, we have been without a good tool store with various brands for some years now. Between KMS and Marson, we should be covered now… :)
