I am in Dixon, IL about 4 hours away. That might be a little too far away. I looked at Craigslist last night and found an 8” powermatic very close and pretty reasonable. Now just have to get 220 in the shop. arrg.

What model # is your jointer?

Sprinkle some sawdust on it and lean a couple boards in front and it will blend it with other stuff.

Found a jointer over the weekend and the wife noticed it too. Kind of hard to hide an 8” grizzly! The 65” beds look like an aircraft carrier. I will have lots of time to use it now that I am living in the shop.

LMAO. HA!

You can get a blanket and pillow and sleep on the jointer bed. Come to think of it, you can turn it on and get you’re back scratched…................Who needs the wife ?

I’m getting ready to sell an 8” Powermatic jointer with straight blades and a 15HH Powermatic Planer with a helical head, they are like brand new and both have very limited use.
