Just emptied my 10×15 shed today, and want to turn into a kiln.

Not sure why this pic isn’t right side up….sorry.

There is a small window to the left. I was going to let the hot Florida sun heat it all day while having fans for circulation…. I want to cut a hole for an intake and use the window for the exhaust.

Any ideas on fans, heating, temps, humidity, etc…? Would love to hear what everyone has to say…

A dehumidifier with a drain to outside would help get the moisture out as well. I have one in my garage and though it wasn’t the intent to help dry the wood, it sure helps.

What kind of work do you do with a kiln?
