Hi, does anyone have plans or a picture of a toolbox that i can put my handtools in? Tools like handsaws, planes, chisels…and such. Just want to make something useful. Thanks

Good morning Woodsman!

I just typed “toolbox” into the search function and came up with this list…I bet you will find something here that you like. Great Icon by the way.

Would you rather do a toolbox, or like a hanging tool cabinet?

If you think that you might like to have a chest type tool box you can take a look at the one in my shop and I’m also building one right now for a friend. If you have the right equipment (just the basics) a beginner can build one of these if you just take a little care. These will hold a lot of tools and they are quite handy if they are sitting on a simple platform that brings them up to the right height.

A picture of the empty box.

Mads, would you mind giving me the approximate dimensions of your tote box? I need to make a similar box so I can carry a few of my tools back and forth to the plant. BTW, I love your blog.
