Hey Guys and Gals,
This is the ultimate skill share gloat! patron arrived yesterday afternoon. We have been talking almost non stop. He has this special box he is working on for his mentor, a very special person in his life. Can you imagine that he is going to use my shop. Wow, and I get to watch.
If he can shut me up long enough, we might actually be in the shop in a few minutes.
I’ll keep this going and add to it as the visit goes. What a chance to learn form all his years of experience. You may refer to me in the future as Lucky lil’ red welding rod. lol Man What a nice person he is.Wow!

a) I’m really close to being insanely jealous;

b) David could (genuinely) probably make a living doing this. No kidding. If I had the resources, I’d gladly pay him to show me …. well … anything. People pay good money through Woodcraft, or any of a number of other Woodworking Schools.

But what a luxury that would be: throw a couple of bucks his way. Put him up in the guest bedroom. Feed him … well … and tap into that deep river of knowledge.

Hey, David ? When you coming this way ? ;-)

Enjoy your time with him !

Lucky you Rand, I’m sure you guys will enjoy the visit. I never get any visits here in Norway, so I’m enjoying
hearing about them anyway. Say hi to David (and Buddy) for me.

Hey, that’s great. He is a great guy and with tons of experience it will be a time that you will remember for many years. Have fun and tell him that helluvawreck says hello. Thanks
