I have a 4 stage Fuji HVLP and am going to spray cabinet doors I made with Kem Aqua Plus White.
Since the doors are Maple with MDF center panels, what primer should I use? I don’t really want to buy the Kem Aqua Plus Surfacer, as it is only available in 5 gallon buckets.

I have used this finish over Zinsser BIN successfully before, but these are kitchen cabinet doors, and will be more subject to dings.

Make sure it’s an oii-based primer with the MDF center-panels, they will swell if you use water-based primer.
